"Field Organizers are key to the success of the 2018 Coordinated Campaign by creating and implementing a comprehensive field program in your region to maximize Democratic turnout and improve Democratic performance. Field Organizers autonomously build teams and motivate volunteers to register, call, and knock on the doors of voters to deliver the Democratic Party message. Field Organizers are the face of the campaign in your region, and will maintain positive relationships with local Democratic group leaders and volunteers. The desired candidates for the position are enthusiastic, have organizing, political, retail, or team leadership experience, and a strong passion for electing Democrats."

California Voices for Progress is an office of Voices for Progress (V4P), a young and progressive national advocacy organization. V4P is a community of business owners, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and other influential leaders who are dedicated to advocating to protect our climate; ensure equality and expand opportunity; and strengthen representative democracy. Our members and staff meet with elected officials on the state and federal level throughout the year to fight against climate change; to expand voting protections and end big money’s dominance of elections; to win public investments in economic opportunity; and to expand protections for women, communities of color, immigrants, the LGBTQIA+ community, and others."

Dianne Feinstein for Senate: Intern Program

"Students interested in public service and federal government are encouraged to apply for an internship. Internships are available to undergraduate college students in Senator Feinstein's Washington office as well as her four state offices located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Fresno. "

The Giving Spirit

"The Giving Spirit provides immediate aid and a human connection to homeless lives--men, women, children and families in Greater Los Angeles. We also educate volunteers and communities about the human face of homelessness with the goal of recognizing that homelessness does not mean hopelessness and lives can be improved and housing challenges resolved through community awareness and action."

Westside Food Bank

Westside Food Bank’s mission is to distribute as much food as possible to local agencies with food assistance programs and to reduce food waste on the Westside of Los Angeles County. As the food bank warehouse for the Westside since 1981, we annually distribute 4.5 million pounds of food to over 70 local social service agencies. We do not distribute food directly to individuals, only to agencies.

Sojourn Shelter

"In 1977, Sojourn opened a shelter for victims of domestic violence (the second such shelter in Southern California), and remains to this day the premiere provider on the west side of Los Angeles County. In 1995, Sojourn founded (and continues to administer) the Westside Domestic Violence Network, a consortium approach to the problem of domestic violence. Sojourn staff partner with the Family Violence Prevention Program of Kaiser Permanente, the largest health care provider in the state, and are members of UCLA Emergency Medicine Center’s multidisciplinary team. In addition, staff are members of the Los Angeles City Domestic Violence Task Force, the Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Council, and the California Partnership To End Domestic Violence. Those in need of services find Sojourn through an elaborate referral system consisting of multiple local hotlines, the Los Angeles County 800 number, and the National Domestic Violence hotline. "
